Simulation of in vivo Pharmacokinetics Using Hydrodynamic Analogue of the Compartment Models with Variable Distribution Rates

Abstract

|
In vitro pharmacokinetics were simulated using hydrodynamic analogue of the compartment models. The oral model and the intravenous model were simulated for one and two compartment models each and the rate of distribution were controlled in the hydrodynamic models. The drug concentration of central compartment and of peripheral compartment were measured simultaneously followed by the differentiation of the distribution rates. The measured central and the peripheral drug concentration were fitted simultaneously by computer program ¡¯Boomer¡¯, and showed very good correlation between the measured drug concentration and the predicted concentration in both oral and intravenous models with different distribution rates.
